Caloundra (QLD) science technician takes out global award

The Gratnells International Science Technician of the Year Award 2020 has been awarded to Olivia Frost of Caloundra State High School.

The judging panel, consisting of esteemed industry professionals, looked for evidence of individuals who go above and beyond in their daily work.

The judges recognised Olivia for her interaction with students and the work she does to inspire and develop them. She also trains student teachers and is skilled at managing experienced teachers.

Olivia does a huge amount to go above and beyond her day-to-day role and makes a real difference through the Technicians Network she has established.

Congratulations Olivia.
