SETA are delighted to announce the winners of the STAR Week Competition. This is sponsored by MTA (Modern Teaching Aids) who kindly provide $1000 to each winner towards the cost of attending CONASTA 73 in Brisbane in 2026.

SETA is proud to announce the two winners of the Modern Teaching Aids sponsored competition.

I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend CONASTA 71 held in early July 2024 in Melbourne. This was made possible by the generous sponsorship of MTA (Modern Teaching Aids), SETA (Science Education Technicians Association) and support from my workplace, Launceston Christian School.

It was a fantastic experience and I feel so privileged to have attended this wonderful event.

SETA would like to congratulate Sarah Cates and Cheryl Tsan in being the winners of the MTA (Modern Teaching Aids) sponsorship of $1000 each towards the cost of attending CONASTA70 in Adelaide in 2023.

I was extremely privileged to be given the opportunity to attend CONASTA 69 and sincerely extend my thanks to MTA and SETA, for the competition which they sponsor, to assist Science Technicians in making the trip.

The Gratnells International Science Technician of the Year Award 2020 has been awarded to Olivia Frost of Caloundra State High School.
